PDF to Word: Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-10

This app converts documents entirely on your device. It has no accounts and no sign-in.

Your documents: files you convert are processed only on your iPhone or iPad. They are never uploaded to any server, and we cannot see them.

Usage statistics: when statistics are on, the app sends usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase, a Google service. We use them to see which features are used and how well our advertising works. Examples are “a conversion finished” and “a subscription started”.

What Firebase receives: a random app instance ID created for this installation of the app (not the advertising identifier), your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version and language, your country or region (determined by Google from the IP address), and app events. App events include ones Firebase records automatically, such as the first launch and app sessions, and purchase events (product, price and currency, no payment details). Events never contain file names, file contents or text from your documents.

Your identity: the instance ID only groups events from one installation of the app. It is not linked to your name, email address or Apple Account.

Tracking: the app shows no ads and does not use the advertising identifier. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Your choice: you can turn statistics off at any time. Open Settings in the app and turn off “Share usage statistics” in the Privacy section. After that, the app sends nothing to Firebase. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, statistics stay off unless you turn them on.

Where files are stored: converted files are kept inside the app on your device until you delete them. You can delete one file with a swipe or clear the whole history in Settings. Deleting the app removes all converted files.

Purchases: payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details or personal information from Apple. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

Children: the app is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Contact: send questions about privacy to support@pdfword.pro. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you send, and use them only to reply to you.
